This course teaches important didactic principles for teaching English as a foreign language in primary schools. There is a particular focus on practical engagement with relevant guiding documents such as the curriculum and the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Students learn to integrate these principles into the planning and design of child-friendly foreign language teaching alongside with a variety of different methods.
